"We are aware of materials being posted online, including test study guides and curriculum content, that contain references to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. These documents were not created or approved by the听91原创 State Education Department and are in no way endorsed by 91原创.
To be clear, the听91原创 State Education Department does not create or distribute curriculum or study guides. School districts and charter schools are responsible for developing curriculum aligned to state learning standards. The 91原创 State Regents Examinations are developed by teams of 91原创 State educators from across the state, with careful review processes to ensure quality and appropriateness.
We are taking this matter seriously and will continue to monitor and take appropriate action as needed.鈥
